As many of you will be aware, we have a great friendship with Porsche Club Bretagne Pays de Loire and since 2018 we have officially hosted & visited one another. Our last visit to Brittany was back in September 2019, and I am delighted to advise that we have been invited back to visit and be a part of their Breizh Cup Carnac 2023 tourist rally.

Breizh Cup Carnac 2023 has space to accommodate 15 Porsche Club Ireland cars on the weekend of September 22nd to September 24th so we have planned a 10day French adventure which will take us on the ultimate Grand Tour from Carnac in Southern Brittany to Pornic West of Nantes, Bordeaux, Loire Valley, Le Mans & back to Cherbourg.

The tour starts on Thursday, 21st of September, at 16:00 on Irish Ferries latest, W.B. Yeats that will bring us from Dublin to Cherbourg and we return from Cherbourg on Saturday 30th September, departing at 18.30 on the Irish Ferries Epsilon before we dock approx 12.30pm Sunday Oct 1st.

In the coming weeks, we will have final details and costs for the Breizh Cup itself; estimated at approx €550 based on 2 sharing; to include hotels (B&B), all meals, attractions and entertainment from Friday 22nd arrival at Carnac to after Sunday 24th lunch.

The approx total cost including Ferry & Breizh Cup we are aiming for, is €3085.00 per car, based on a couple sharing.

To allow us obtain the most efficient Ferry costs, Hotel rates, Restaurant bookings & Entertainment for our post Breizh Cup Tour we must make Group Bookings, for which these vendors require the Club to make substantial deposits and down payments staged in advance.

We anticipate more demand than there will be places available. To give every member an equal chance, we plan to open registration on the Club website for the event at 20:00 IST on 8th April. The first 15 members who make the initial deposit and register will secure a place for the trip. We will create a waitlist for those who register late but will not collect deposits from them.

Why not check out our gallery and past visits then contact us to finalise your preferences and book your place.
